Spring Fling Dinner Party – Ashton Park March Social Event!

Our neighborhood Social Divas Jane and Linda have been at it again….  So get ready for Ashton Park’s Spring Fling Dinner Party!!

Please join us at the Viking Cooking School at the Factory in Franklin for an amazing interactive cooking event!  You will work with your neighbors to prepare and eat a gourmet meal in a state-of-the-art Demonstration Theater Kitchen.  Under chef instruction, groups will take turns getting hands-on while their friends watch (and heckle) from the crowd!!!  When you are not cooking, you’ll stay in tune with what’s going on via two flat screen TVs hooked up to video cameras.  It will be a night you won’t want to miss!!

Friday March 18th 6pm – Spring Fling Dinner Party $70 per person (includes 2 glasses of wine)

Spring Greens with Strawberries and warm Bacon Vinaigrette

Grilled Pork Medallion with Port Reduction and Champagne Creme

Boursin Risotto

White chocolate Mousse with Raspberry Coulis

Your check will be your reservation.  Please send a check made payable to Jane Olinger (518 Eden Park Drive) by Monday, Feb. 28.  If the minimum is not met by 2/28, we will have to cancel the event.  For any questions…or more information, please call Jane Olinger 503-9615 or Linda Homan 771-9408.

Ashton Park Ladies… Bring your ideas!

Hi ladies!  I am so excited to be getting to meet everyone at the Ladies Luncheon on Friday.  It will be so nice to get to know some of my new neighbors!

I was wondering if I could ask you to do a little thinking before the luncheon?  I’d love to get your ideas on the whole concept of a “neighborhood communication tool.”  Should we try to continue the blog format?  Would you like to see a website?  Would you rather a monthly newsletter?  What do you really think would be valuable or worth while?

I really appreciate you giving it a little thought and I am anxious to hear from everyone on Friday!

Ladies Luncheon!

Calling all Ashton Park Ladies!!!!  It’s time to get together and “do LUNCH!”  Come meet new neighbors and catch up with old friends at our January Ladies Luncheon Friday, January 28th at 11:30.  The luncheon will be held at 1031 Eden Park Dr at the home of Becky Gatten.  She will be our “hostess” with the “most-ess” for this event!

2011 is right around the corner…. and with it brings the new Ashton Park Social Committee!!

While most of us have been having Holiday fun with Family and Friends, our Social Committee Chairwomen Jane Olinger and Linda Homan have been busy planning our first event of the year…. at Sips n Strokes in Franklin!

Get ready to meet new neighbors and reconnect with old friends as you join us for feed, fun and ARTISTRY on Friday, January 7th at 7:00 pm.  The event is BYOB and reservations/payment is due to Linda Homan by January 2nd.  The cost is $42 pp and checks can be made out to Sips n Strokes! Can’t wait to see everyone there!
