Neighborhood Garage Sale update!
Hi Ashton Park!!
Sorry the blog has been so quiet for the last few days….. it was a CRAZY, BUSY, working weekend!!!! There is nothing more fun (not) then showing homes in the pouring rain…. Did I mention I do NOT have the kind of beautiful, shiny straight hair that looks fab whether it’s wet or dry????? If you can picture a long hair labra-doodle in desperate need of a flat iron… you’ll get an idea of how I looked by 1:00 on Saturday. Don’t even ask about 4:00!!
Anyway….. We are having an HOA board meeting Tuesday night at 6:30 and will be finalizing plans for the neighborhood garage sale. I have gotten TONS of requests from neighbors asking me to put together a list of resources that people can refer to when they are in need of home repairs or other services. So, because I aim to please…. I am going to try to compile a list!
We are looking for all types of services…. anything from landscaping, to plumbing…. faux painting to handyman. Cook, wall paper, electrical, cleaning….and on… and on… If you currently use or have ever used anyone who has given you great service…..PLEASE pass them on to me and I will put them on our list!

When my husband Steve and I first visited Franklin, we were instantly struck by the beautiful neighborhoods…. and the amazing people! After just one day in this charming town, we knew that Franklin was where we wanted to be. Once we found Ashton Park, we knew we had found our home….
While we have been lucky enough to meet some of our neighbors…. we surely don’t know everyone. Meeting folks in a large neighborhood can be a little daunting and it isn’t always easy… So I decided to start this site in hopes that it would help me accomplish my New Years resolution of getting to know my neighbors in Ashton Park!
My hope for this blog is that it will be a great resource for all of us to use to help to get to know each other, connect with each other, share information and most importantly ….. to be great neighbors!
